The interface consists of two main parts:
- The variations. The user can play and rate each variation.
Variations are not named or marked to indicate how they were
generated. Each variation is rated with the slider, and then
those ratings are used by Goldberg to construct the next set
of variations.
- The main controls.
- Mark: tags this page as an interesting place to return to.
- Redo: recalculates variations on the current theme.
- Go: looks at the user's ratings and calculates
new variations based on them.
- Back: steps back to the previous page.
- Forward: goes to the next page, if one exists.
- Tree: brings up a tree representing decisions made for
browsing and navigating the space of variations and decisions.
