Mental Models -- Task 1

Find out whatever you can about the Roland Juno 106 synthesizer.

Kurt started reading the front page of MM from the top. He noticed the "images" link and passed over it. The second link is "information" and Kurt selected this link (without reading further).

"information" took him to a gopher/FTP-style menu (a simple list of documents/directories with some size and file type information). He scanned this list and remarked that he figured "Roland" was a brand name and might be found here. He found a directory called "roland" and followed that link.

This led to a similar menu, mostly of documents, and a few directories. Scanning the menu, he eventually found a link to a directory called "Juno" and followed it (although it was near the top of the list, he did not find it right away however; this was seen again in Task 7 when he missed a link entirely, even though it was near the top).

This directory contained a number of files about the Juno 106 (and other Juno models). Kurt explored a few tagged "Juno-106" until he found one that seemed fairly general. He noted that the files seemed to contain saved email.
